It's a one-off that'll be a bunch of Lemmy's songs!

Saxon will be playing the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards, which will take place at The Eventim Apollo this year on June 13. You might know the venue as the Hammersmith Apollo, where Motörhead recorded its No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith in 1981. So what better place for Saxon to pay tribute to Motörhead than that venue?

Saxon will be joined by guitarist Phil Campbell and drummer Mikkey Dee at the award show to play a setlist of Lemmy's favorite Saxon songs. It'll be pretty cool to see what songs the band chooses with Campbell and Dee for the show, and how the whole thing sounds with the energy the two will bring as well!

Meanwhile, Motorhead drummer Mikkey Dee is keeping busy taking a gig with Scorpions for their upcoming US run.
