By now you must be aware of Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe's trials and tribulations in the Czech Republic. Blythe was arrested in 2012 in Prague and blamed for the death of a fan at one of the band's shows in the country two years earlier. Blythe spent over a month in jail and was eventually acquitted of all charges. It was a very expensive ordeal that bankrupted the band.
It turns out that after his acquittal Blythe attempted to file a lawsuit seeking compensation for all the money spent defending himself. Today, the Justice Ministry announced that they have rejected his claim. Blythe was seeking 15.555 million koruna ($640,800) in damages, which is quite a pretty penny. Blythe would still be able to appeal the ruling if he chose to, which I imagine he would.
If you haven't yet, we recommend you check out the time Blythe sat in on the RIP a Livecast and went through excrutiating detail about his time in the prison and why he will never return to the Czech Republic.
