Ozzy Osbourne is sadly set to undergo a fourth back surgery sometime in the near future. According to Osbourne himself during an episode of The Osbournes, his neck has been fixed but his back is still a mess.
"My lower back is… I'm going for an epidural soon because what's happening, what they've discovered is the neck has been fixed," said Osbourne. "Below the neck there's two vertebrae where the [ATV in a 2003 accident] hit me and disintegrated, there's nothing left of 'em." He later added: "All I know is right now, I'm in a lot of pain, I'm in a lot of discomfort."
Sharon Osbourne pointed out that this will be Ozzy's fourth surgery and clarified that the surgery may not fix the spinal issue. "[The doctor] said 'look, we don't know. We don't if it's going to work, [or] if it's not.' We're going to get a second and a third opinion."
Osbourne's health has unfortunately been the cause of show cancellations over the past few years, most recently being his upcoming appearance at the Power Trip festival. His ailments also cost him a 2023 European tour, which wasn't surprising given his bleak outlook on the situation in late 2022. His farewell tour for North America still remains a mystery, though hopefully it all works out.
