Ozzy Osbourne underwent major surgery yesterday that according to Sharon Osbourne will "determine the rest of his life." Sharon broke the initially last week on The Talk UK after co-host Vanessa Feltz expressed her sympathies for Ozzy about his upcoming operation. "He has a very major operation on Monday. I have to be there and it's really going to determine the rest of his life," said Sharon. "My son is also going to have a daughter in about three weeks, and also it's our 40th wedding anniversary and July 1."
Now according to Sharon's Twitter, Ozzy is out of surgery and is recovering! We wish the entire Osbourne family all the best in the coming weeks and months, but man – what a relief that Ozzy is doing well. "Our family would like to express much gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love and support leading up to Ozzy's surgery!" said Sharon in a statement. "Ozzy is doing well and on the road to recovery! Your love means the world to him."
In an interview with Classic Rock published last month, Ozzy revealed that he's still suffering from injuries sustained in a quad bike accident in 2003. "I’m just waiting on some more surgery on my neck," he said. "I can’t walk properly these days. I have physical therapy every morning. I am somewhat better, but nowhere near as much as I want to be to go back on the road."
