The chronicles of Nachtmystium continue, though who would've thought they would?
In 2014, Blake Judd was accused and later confirmed to have screwed fans over big time. There were accusations of drug use and theft as well, and Judd ultimately dropped off the face of the earth, disbanding Nachtmystium after one final album. About two years after that, Judd resurfaced and claimed he'd gotten sober and was done with music, though he did want to drop a b-sides and rarities album before he went out.
Then Nachtmystium came back a little more by signing to Earache and re-releasing its back catalogue, and now we're got a full-on Nachtmystium revival with shows and a new EP called Resilient.
In the latest news from the Nachtmystium camp, the band will return as a five piece. Judd is obviously at the helm, drummer Jean-Michael Graffio is back in the fold, and it seems like Nathan "Phenex" Williams of Wormreich is part of the band now too.
