Metallica are celebrating their 30 year anniversary as a band and they wanted to do something special. So, they have announced a series four shows at the Fillmore in San Francisco (an intimate venue, way smaller than the band is used to playing) and they are promising some surprises and unique performances. Tickets to all four shows will be available for $19.81 total, clever (or $6 per show). The catch? You have to be a member of the Metallica fan club. A membership fee runs between $45 and $60. So, if you really want to see these shows and get the membership, it will still be cheaper than the price of one ticket to the Big 4 show in September. Win Win! The question is what are the surprises? I want to see Dave Mustaine on stage with them performing the old-old shit. Or, maybe they can invest in wigs to match the hair they had back then. Reserve your tickets here. SFers, would you go to this?
