As with the tracklisting announced a few weeks ago, here is another piece of MESHUGGAH non-news to wet your appetite until that oh-so-close early March release of their new album, obZen. Mmm, look at that cover. Is it me, or does it look like they got Maynard to pose for them? The latest issue of Decibel (with Dethklok on the cover) features a story on the new album with a quote from drummer, Tomas Haake:
"The album is much more dense, while still being very clear and audible as far as drumparts and guitar riffs. Lyrically it's quite different from 'Catch Thirty Three', more diverse. There is, however, somewhat of a 'red line' or concept running through all of them."
COME ON ALREADY! Release the album!
