Lzzy Hale, and all of the rest of Halestorm couldn't be nicer when we met them on the black carpet of the Revolver Golden Gods Awards. They were completely humble and down to earth people, which is always nice to see. But Lzzy knows how to pose for a photo, and clearly the editors of Revolver are big fans as they have given her the cover of their annual Hottest Chicks In Hard Rock issue.
Also featured in the issue will be my favorite "hottest chick," Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil, Amy Lee of Evanescence, Maria Brink from In This Moment, the twins from Eyes Set To Kill and others. The issue hits news stands this Tuesday, September 4th. Here is what Lzzy had to say about being labeled a "hot chick":
“My view of it really is to make sure that you’re good at what you do, and so that when people actually want to look beyond the centerfold that you’re actually good and you have something to back it up. I think that most of us are really trying to push the envelope and, you know, make sure that we’re musicians first and that the sex is just kind of the icing on the cake.”
