Before they cancelled their 2021 live appearances, Limp Bizkit was out on the road playing fans a new single called "Dad Vibes". According to an Instagram story, that's only the start. Limp Bizkit claims they'll soon release a handful of new singles "one after the other in rapid succession very soon" followed by their new album.
"To be more clear, as some promoters are a bit behind on keeping you updated. All of our scheduled performances were canceled weeks ago (yes, we are all fine, thank you).
"New songs will begin to leak, one after the other in rapid succession very soon. Soon thereafter, our new album will be released."
The new album will be the band's first in a decade. All we know about the album is that guitarist Wes Borland said in a recent interview that it's "the best stuff I've ever done as a musician", and that it'll probably not end up being called Stampede Of The Disco Elephants.
"I will definitely say that the riffs and the music, it's the best stuff I've ever done as a musician, I think. I'm so pleased with the direction the music went, and I love what we did as a band. And I've heard a bunch of his, sort of, demoed vocals over the stuff, and they're great. So I have no doubt that he's gonna come and bring it and it's gonna be a great record."
