Lamb Of God has occasionally mentioned they'd be working on a new album for possibly 2020, and now it looks like that's coming to fruition. Lamb Of God has just posted a 30 second video without any sound that very clearly shows the band in the studio recording their first new full-length since 2015.
It's also worth mentioning this is Lamb Of God's first record without founding drummer Chris Adler. Adler left the band in July 2019, saying "I’ve been well since August of 2018" in reference to his motorcycle accident, that "being trapped in a 'creative' formula and/or playing the same song 10,000 times did not bolster my love of playing," and that "I was not given a choice in this and my dream is alive." Adler also said about Lamb Of God that "we’ve kind of done everything there is to do, and I just don’t really feel the need to continue to do it and miss time from my family" in a later statement."
Adler is replaced by drummer Art Cruz (Prong, Winds of Plague).
