Legendary film composer and recent solo artist John Carpenter does not need anyone to vouch for him. John Carpenter is simply John Carpenter. However, in an interview with Kerrang!, Carpenter reveals he's a big Babymetal fan and would love for them to endorse his work.
“I am a fan. I love Metallica,” he enthuses when asked if he enjoys metal. “But you know, my life will be complete if I get endorsed by the Japanese group BABYMETAL. I love them! They’re so fabulous.”
Maybe when Carpenter starts working on Lost Themes IV, he can kick up a collaboration with the Japanese pop metal giants? Until then, we'll just have to settle for his coming album Lost Themes III: Alive After Death out February 5. Pre-orders are available here.
