This month marks the 30th anniversary of Alice In Chains seminal masterpiece Dirt, and the band is celebrating in a notable way. An anniversary box set is scheduled for release later this month, and this summer, the band announced a collab with Funko! Pop for a series of Dirt-era figurines. Guitarist Jerry Cantrell and drummer Sean Kinney sat down for an interview with Funko! Pop, and the pair spoke on a wide range of topics, from the Layne Staley's funky hair styles to what moment in their career did the band feel they had finally "made it."

"We were just kind of slugging it out in clubs and stuff, and we got asked to be part of the Clash of the Titans with Anthrax, Megadeth and Slayer," said Cantrell. "The first half of that was pretty brutal, but we kind of really enjoyed that part of it because people were throwing shit all the time and booing us and stuff. In the middle of that tour, that's when radio and MTV all kind of clicked and hit—'Man in the Box' kind of hit in the middle of that tour."
