We are getting "new Metallica music" tomorrow, Wednesday, July 15th – at least that's what Metallica is teasing. Update: Metallica have released two songs from S&M2. Watch here.
“Hey! This is James from Metallica." begins an audio message on Metallica's social media. "Tune in on Wednesday to hear new Metallica music from S&M2!” A similar message was posted with Lars' voice on Metallica's stories.
S&M2 will feature Metallica's performance with the San Francisco Symphony at the grand opening of Chase Center in San Francisco, CA. It did not seem like they played any new new songs, based on the setlist, but surely there will be some new arrangements.

Last month, Lars announced the Metallica S&M2 box set on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, saying the plan was to release it in August. Take a look at this sucker:
