When I looked at the photo on my phone, I couldn't believe my eyes. Was Larry David really at a doom show?
But, if you really look up close at the image, it's just a Larry look-a-like. There are a few other clues that would immediately tip off any true LD fan…
Larry David does not wear shorts.
I can't imagine somebody as neurotic as Larry David wouldn't feel a bit uncomfortable showing off his pasty legs to the world. In fact, a quick Google search shows David never wears shorts in public. The only photos of him in shorts are from movie and TV roles, done for humorous effect.
Larry David wears New Balances
The second big giveaway that this isn't LD are the Converse Chuck Taylors. Fans of Curb Your Enthusiasm know that Larry prefers his New Balances.
So while this would be an awesome photo if true, sadly this mystery is a hoax. But, here is a real photo of myself in front of Larry David wearing my Larrydavhead shirt:
