Here's the record! It's rock and roll without so much of the rock part and a heaping shovel-full of death. Bloodlines is one of those records that lives up to the album artwork- it's vicious, it's bloody, and it's pleasantly disorienting. I've checked it out a few times now, and the best way I can describe it in a word would be "enjoyable." It's a good record for what it's worth, and yeah, you'll come back to it from time to time when you're in the mood, but it's not going to destroy your entire perception of music with what it brings to table. Definitely take a liten though! It's worth your time.
