In a recent interview with Team Rock Radio, Opeth frontman and guitarist Mikael Åkerfeldt said he and Porcupine Tree frontman and guitarist Steven Wilson have talked about the possibility of another Storm Corrosion record! Åkerfeldt goes on to say the duo are not sure if fans want another record, but they say are interested in doing it:
"I'm not sure if that's anticipated or if people even would want another record with Storm Corrosion, but [Steven and I] talked about that, and both of us agreed that we want to do another record. But if it's gonna happen or not, I'm not sure."
So somehow we all need to let them know we're all interested in a record! I say we make this article into a petition of sorts in the comments section.
Storm Corrosion has released one record, a self-titled debut, in 2012.
