Julien's Auctions will hold their Icons & Idols: Rock N' Roll auction on November 19 and 20 at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York, NY (and online).
The auction will see a ton of rock relics go up for sale, including:
- The original artwork for Quiet Riot's 1983 album Metal Health
- The original metal "asylum" mask that was used to model the one on the cover of Metal Health
- Guns N’ Roses 1989 MTV VMA Moonman awarded to the band for Best Heavy Metal Video for “Sweet Child O’ Mine”
- Robert Plant's handwritten lyrics to Led Zeppelin's “Kashmir” written on The Whitehall Hotel letterhead stationery
- An illustration drawn in ballpoint pen on a sheet of notebook paper by Nirvana's Kurt Cobain
- A handwritten setlist by Kurt Cobain on Sheffield University Students’ Union stationery
- An EVH Fender “Frankenstrat” guitar stage played by Eddie Van Halen, and signed by him and his brother Alex Van Halen
- Ane of Flea’s original Mesa Boogie 2×10 RoadReady cabinets used on tour with the Red Hot Chili Peppers
