If you're in the mood for some serious death metal, Grand Cadaver has you covered. The band is now streaming their filthy new single "Fields of the Undying" which, for those unaware, isn't trying to be anything other than gross ass death metal.
"Grand Cadaver for us, is a way to return to the rehearsal room, beer drinking, no holds barred Death Metal we grew up on!" said the band. "While also implementing what we’ve all picked up on our musical paths. We are five friends who all love this kind of sonic violence, and we wanted to get that feeling across, so we recorded Madness Comes in a 'what you see is what you get' style. ‘Fields of The Undying’ does not try to reinvent the wheel, it is a testimony of the sheer power of Death Metal and our love for the genre!"
Grand Cadaver is guitarists Stefan Lagergren (Expulsion) and Alex Stjernfeldt (Novarupta, Let Them Hang), drummer Daniel Liljekvist (ex-Katatonia), bassist Christian Jansson (Pagandom), and vocalist Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity). Grand Cavader will release their debut EP Madness Comes in February 2021.
