Looks like the wait for new Gojira is almost over. Gojira took to Twitter moments ago to post a looping .gif of some sort of time machine alongside the hashtag #anotherplacetobe.
One fan noticed the phrase "Another world, another place to be" was recently used on the back of a Gojira shirt promoting the band's Live at Red Rocks performance, but who knows how they're actually connected (if at all). Unless this is all a big tease for the actual release of Live at Red Rocks? The band briefly made the excellent concert footage available online. One of the songs still remains up.
The reason this seems like it's probably new material is that we know Gojira was in the studio in some capacity in September 2019. Prior to that, drummer Mario Duplantier said "I can tell you that, yeah, we are working very hard on the new stuff. Work is in progress, and we are very, very, very happy and super proud of it. We just can't wait to give you more details." It's also been four years since Gojira released Magma.
So we'll see what happens… but I'm excited.

This shirt was in one of your last posts. Is it related? pic.twitter.com/M9A3x0gvVn
