First off, today is Dave Grohl's 51st birthday. Happy birthday to the coolest motherfucker in rock. And this year, 2020, marks 25 years of Foo Fighters, which is pretty crazy to think about. It's been 25 years since the release of their seminal debut album in 1995, and turns out, the band is just getting started.
The band tweeted out the following message:
"Thank you guys for being with us year after year…for singing along & making every show the best night of our lives.
"We're JUST getting started, so Buckle up, 2020… it's going to be an INSANE year full of some seriously crazy shit…#FF25 #FF2020"
There was also a short video teaser included, which you can see below. Foo Fighters last release was in 2017 with Concrete And Gold.
Holy Shit!!! 25 years?!
Thank you guys for being with us year after year…for singing along & making every show the best night of our lives.
