Yesterday, we posted about rumors circulating that Foo Fighters might be breaking up. The internet was in a frenzy, so much so, that the band promised to make an announcement . Last night, the announcement was made in the form of a new video message.
The announcement was… that we've all been had. The video, which starts with screenshots from various news outlets reporting on the Foos' potential demise, including a screenshot of our report (thanks guys), and then shows Grohl discussing his solo career with producer Butch Vig, while the rest of the band gets angry. The Foos then look for a replacement, and the person they pick is gold. Here's the whole video:
