FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Guitarist Compares New Album To Windows XP

Does that mean their next album is going to be Windows Vista?

Does that mean their next album is going to be Windows Vista?

In a new interview with Revolver Magazine, while discussing the band's new album, Got Your Six, Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory sincerely said this:

“It’s the transition to Death Punch 6.0. And this is not, like, the difference between Windows 95 and 98. This is like going to XP. It’s a completely new start, but without losing what we have always been.”

While I understand the analogy he's trying to make is that the new album is an improvement on their past sound, I do find it incredibly hilarious that he is comparing the album to Windows XP, an operating system that came out in 2001, which, if you ask critics of the band, will tell you that is the exact era of "active rock" from which the band finds their influence. Also, if you want to get really nerdy, he's comparing himself to an operating system notorious for it's susception to viruses and the worst internet browser of all time.

Bathory has been quite a chatty Cathy as of late, publicly endorsing Republican nominee Donald Trump for president and shooting down claims that frontman Ivan Moody is a domestic abuser.
