I'm near positive I can say Eyehategod had the shittiest week ever last week. Yesterday, we told you about the group not getting paid for a gig thanks to a shady promoter. Today, the band has taken to Facebook to reveal they were robbed last week in St. Louis!
The group said their loss is "in the thousands of dollars" and have not made any way to donate money available to fans. If anyone knows anything about this, hit the band up! Please!
"Hey folks wanted to put this out there in case anybody can help that last Wednesday June 18th in St. Louis, MO our van was broken into while we were on stage. Brian's computer bag with all of his earnings from the tour as we'll as his iPad and various items were taken as well as there Booking Agent\TM's (Zac Ohler) computer and personal bag and drummer Aaron Hill's. Brian's losts total in the thousands. This is a huge blow and if anybody knows anything or can offer help would be amazing."
It remains a little bit of a mystery why the group didn't say anything sooner, but I'm starting to think maybe it's because all their computers were stolen. Or that seems to make the most sense anyway. Now would be a great time to buy some Eyehategod merch.
