Aborted has officially welcomed live guitarist Harrison Patuto (Dissonance in Design, ex-Morbus Deus, ex-Vale of Pnath) to their ranks. Patuto replaces longtime guitarist Mendel bij de Leij, who left the band in 2019.
Up and atom! Faster than a shark, sharper than a scalpel and has more cats than your regular disgruntled cat lady, we have a permanent replacement for Mendel – ladies and gents, please welcome Harrison Patuto as the official 5th member of the band.
Harrison says: “It is with great pleasure that I announce my permanence within the band of ABORTED. This past year has been a surplus of hard work and good times, as we performed a total of 82 shows together. There were big shoes to fill for me, but the dedication, effort, talent and kindness of the guys has made it all the more easy for me to feel at home. There are exciting things ahead, and I could not be more honoured to be a part of it.”
Aborted will release their new EP La Grande Mascarade on April 17 and will start their tour with Napalm Death, Tombs, and WVRM the day the EP drops.
