Sometimes metal makes you do some crazy shit. At Ptahil's recent gig in Fort Wayne, Indiana, one of the black metal band's fans decided to bite the head off a fucking decomposed rat. I can only imagine the germs that come along with that, but if that's what you're into… You can check out the video after the jump. Here's what Ptahil drummer Mhaghnuis had to say about the event:
It is good to see that when a human being is bombarded with specific emotions, smells and sounds that they can commit actions that are normally unthinkable to them. We are proud that our music and presence helped this person do something unthinkable to any current standard of social behavior.
When Zac Bau, the rat nibbler at large, was questioned about why he felt the urge to rip the rat's head off, this is what he had to say:
I felt it necessary to step outside the rest of the fans behavior and show that it only takes one person to break the monotony of fist-pumping metal fans. Everybody can mosh; everybody can throw the horns but the true metal fan will eat things that the spirit of the moment moves them to no matter the rest of the world’s thoughts on it.
That's pretty fucking metal. I would never put a dead animal into my mouth, so I could only imagine how he felt when the 'spirit of the moment' possesses him. Ozzy would be proud…or shocked. Hail Satan.
