After much speculation, Slipknot recently revealed that former Sepultura drummer Eloy Casagrande had joined the band. Now Casagrande has issued his first statement as a member of Slipknot, saying: "It's an exciting moment. Unthinkable until then. There is nothing to lose, there is nothing to win. There is just living. We're here as one.
"Thank you Slipknot for trusting me. Thanks all the maggots and fans around the world. See you on the road. Here comes more pain."
Slipknot is hitting the road for their Here Comes The Pain North American arena tour this August and September. The tour is in celebration of Slipknot's 1999 self-titled debut album and features Knocked Loose, Orbit Culture, and Vended as openers. Get your tickets here.
