Puddle of Mudd has been on the decline ever since their first album, but, individually, I'm not sure if Wes Scantlin ever had his shit together. We have been covering Wes for a while now, just simply because people continue to book his band and he continues to theoretically piss all over everyone—including the fans.
Wes' failure to catch his flight for the band's show in Flint, Michigan, last week undoubtedly pissed some people off. He did manage to show up to Puddle of Mudd's show the following night in Versailles, Ohio, but it appears the crowd got a little unruly.
Banana 101.5 is reporting that the band was booed off stage during the middle of their set after some apparent lip-synching didn't fare too well with the audience. We couldn't find any video to prove this, but that didn't stop the fans from posting about their displeasure on the band's Facebook page so much that they deleted their entire Facebook page.
Puddle of Mudd is clearly in crisis mode, and I feel for the remaining members of the band. I don't even know why they would put up with all of Wes' drama, but maybe that's what bros do? They got each other's back. But, at some point, you have to call it for what it is, and tell Wes to either get his shit together or get the fuck out of the band.
