Germany's Der Weg einer Freiheit are a band I've spoken about in adoration many times over, and that doesn't seem likely to end any time soon. Beyond being one of the greatest black metal bands to emerge in the past decade, they are truly a pack of their own in humility and care.
The band has announced that following Bandcamp's amazing offer to waiv all fees today (March 20th) in support of artists world wide, they will be pushing things even further by donating 50% of their shop's revenue to Change.org, and the other 50% to their local food bank. This includes ALL digital and physical purchases made on their page from Friday March 20 midnight PST (8 am CET) until next Thursday, March 26 midnight PST (8 am CET).
