DEFTONES New Album Is Being Mixed, Still Doesn't Have A Name

It's happening! Not this year, likely.

Deftones' Frank Delgado has finally given us the update we've been waiting to hear ever since we found out that the group was in the studio- it's done! Well, done being recorded at least. The album is currently in the process of being mixed and critiqued by the band so everything sounds all meaty and fantastic, as The PRP reports.

“It’s being mixed, it actually started being mixed a couple weeks back. They’re actually going tomorrow to go down and listen to mixes and do things… We’re mixing and we are still in the process of album title, artwork, song titles—we haven’t even got their yet. But the music is done.”

So at least we know it's all said and done at this point recording-wise. If I had to take a stab at a release date, I'd say guessing the first quarter of 2016 is completely reasonable. Though maybe we'll still get to hear a new song this year?
