We've made no secret of our adoration for Decibel Magazine, our absolute favorite analog metal blog and, quite frankly, the only metal print publication we bother reading.
Every year, the fine folks at dB decide to release a special "Top 100" list issue and this year, they've set their sites on the Top 100 Old-School Metal Albums of All Time. The criteria is simple: the album must've been released before 1989.
We got our hands on a copy of the list and it features write ups on some old-school classics and some deep cuts from bands I will certainly be checking out in the next few days. No spoilers on who is number one, but we can say that both Judas Priest and Iron Maiden have multiple albums on the list. And how could they not?
