A few weeks ago, we got a cryptic teaser from Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor about the new era of masks that are about to come out. Taylor continues to tease on social media this past weekend.
While he still can't show us what the actual mask looks like, he shared a few photos of the process of making his new headwear.
"Since I can’t show you the mask yet…" Taylor writes on social media, "Here’s what we go through to have them made."
He then thanks Tom Savini, artist Petra Burkhalter, technician Jason Baker (known for WWE outfits). Here's the slideshow:
Taylor has noted in a previous interview that the dudes working on his mask "got a little more hands-on and exploratory with what I wanted to say visually."
We are ready!
Slipknot are aiming for a summer release for their new album. We're guessing we will see the masks by then.
