Earlier this week, we reported the shocking news that Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor was robbed of over $36,000 worth of gear. The police were hot on the scent and turns out Taylor has retrieved most of his belongings.
Earlier today, Taylor posted the following tweet:
PROUD to say we have 98% of the equipment back! Wouldn't have happened w/o the WDMPD, my wife and the goodness of people! Thank you! #trust

Good news for Taylor, and great work by the West Des Moines police department. No word on who exactly stole the items or where they ended up, but it's alleged that it was a supposed friend of Taylor who was house sitting while the frontman was on tour in Europe.
