We were starting to get concerned! Last week, we reported that Children of Bodom frontman Alexi Laiho checked into the hospital over stomach pains, which later turned out to be a serious infection, forcing the band to cancel a few dates this past weekend. Earlier this morning, the band checked in with an update, and thankfully, Alexi will be leaving the hospital tomorrow (July 12th) and will be back on stage this Sunday. Here's the update from the band:
"We are happy to announce that Alexi will be leaving the hospital in Oslo tomorrow on Thursday, and are also glad to confirm that the band will be able to play Ilosaarirock Festival on Sunday. The Hate Crew is rolling again ! More infos shortly…"

Let's hope Alexi takes this health scare as a wake up call that he may need to take better care of himself and that he's not invincible.
