Check Out This Awesome Upcoming QUEEN Tribute Charity Show In Brooklyn!

It's a well-known face that legendary vocalist Freddie Mercury of Queen fame sadly passed away due to complications from the AIDS virus in 1991. With World AIDS Day coming up on December 1, what better way to celebrate both Mercury's life and give to AIDS charity than an awesome show at Saint Vitus Bar!

According to a press release regarding the line-up for the show, which will be 100% Queen covers:

"Artists performing Queen tunes at this “epic” event include Blue Coupe (featuring founding members of Blue Öyster Cult and the original Alice Cooper group), HUFF THIS!, Nick Didkovsky (of Doctor Nerve), Craig Greenberg, Corn Mo (of .357 Lover), XAVIER, Jason Trachtenburg and The Pendulum Swings, Guillotine Riot, Love Crushed Velvet, Chaos & Lace, Jesse Krakow, QRT (with Wizard of Roz), Athena Matsil, Even Twice, Rob Walbourne (of Queen Orlenes), Doug Bleek, Oscar Albis Rodriguez, and more—with surprise guests!"

100% of the proceeds from ticket sales (which are $10 and can be purchased right here) will be given International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI). Seriously! The bands are playing without any pay and Saint Vitus is straight up donating the venue to the charity for the entire night. How cool is that!? "The show will be MC’ed by NYC improv actor Katie Halper with help from Freddie Mercury look-a-like Ethan Yavin and comedian Lee Camp," according to the press release. This i such an awesome idea and for the sake of AIDS sufferers and the memory of Freddie Mercury, I'm really hoping this turns out to be awesome!
