Wormrot is down to one full-time member – founding guitarist Nurrasyid "Rasyid" Juraimi – as longtime drummer Vijesh Ghariwala has parted ways with the band. According to a statement from Juraimi, he and Ghariwala mutually decided to part ways. This departure comes roughly two years after founding vocalist Arif Suhaimi left the band in 2022.
"After much reflection and mutual respect, Vijesh and I have decided to part ways. We're grateful for the journey we've shared and we look forward to new opportunities individually," wrote Juraimi. "I'd like to thank Vijesh for his years of contribution, and everyone for believing in us along the way. I will carry on to build Wormrot from the ground up again."
