Torche will open for Meshuggah on their coming tour this fall, after which point founding vocalist and guitarist Steve Brooks will leave the band. Brooks revealed the news on his Instagram, saying he's been lucky to have the group for all these years but doesn't have it in him "to keep this going living on opposite sides of the country."
No word on what this means for Torche as a band yet considering they won't have a vocalist after the tour, but we'll see what happens.
"We're a few months away from the last tour I'm doing with Torche. We've been so very lucky and went far beyond what I imagined. I just don't have it in me to keep this going living on opposite sides of the country. Much love to my band members and everyone that supported us these 18 years! See y'all this Sept/Oct ✌️❤️"
