Black Label Society will release their new album Doom Crew Inc. on November 26. The album closes with a song called "Farewell Ballad", which frontman Zakk Wylde revealed to The Eddie Trunk Podcast was originally written during Wylde's sessions for Ozzy Osbourne's 1991 single "No More Tears".

"I think with any band or any artist … I think you get more excited to do the new thing instead of looking back on the old material. I mean, the only thing that made it on this record that was older that I hadn't used was 'Love Reign Down', the piano song – and the 'Farewell Ballad' thing that we ended the record with. Like, 'Farewell Ballad' I ended up writing when I was writing the middle section of 'No More Tears' back in 1990. So I had that song around, but that's been sitting in the can since then."

Wylde has played guitar for Ozzy Osbourne on and off since 1987, and has been featured on five Ozzy records. Catch Black Label Society on the road this October with Obituary and Prong at one of the dates below.
