Billie Eilish is continuing her love of late 2000s metalcore by showing millions of followers on Instagram the magic of early Darkest Hour.
Among a handful of recent stories was Eilish taking a selfie backed by Darkest Hour's 2007 song "Demon(s)" from the Deliver Us record. "Demon(s)" isn't exactly the deepest cut in the genre, but I'm sure Darkest Hour is stoked – they've got their first new record in seven years Perpetual I Terminal lined up for this coming February. It's also just plain cool to see metal bands getting backed by huge pop artists who have the ability to break their name to a much wider audience.
This isn't the first time Eilish has dug deep into her love of metal on social media, as she introduced a lot of her fans to It Dies Today earlier this year. As for Eilish's love of metal, it's no surprise – Billie Eilish is a big metal fan and big metal artists are a fan of Billie Eilish
