AVENGED SEVENFOLD Is Giving Away Tickets Via Billboards

Another clever way to engage fans.

A7X Billboard

Avenged Sevenfold will play The Kia Forum in Los Angeles, CA on June 9 with Falling In Reverse and Pussy Riot. Considering the band's digital games leading up to the announcement of their new record Life Is But A Dream, it's no surprise Avenged Sevenfold is giving away tickets in a creative way.

Avenged Sevenfold has 30 billboards around Los Angeles with five different designs by album artist Wes Lang. Fans can take a photo of the billboards as they find 'em, upload it to Instagram with the appropriate hashtag, and potentially win some tickets to the Kia Forum show.

"Can you find our 5 different #LifeIsButADream… billboard designs around Los Angeles? There are 30 billboards in total, featuring 5 unique pieces of Wes Lang art. Share your photos as you locate them and tag us.

"For a chance to claim VIP tickets to our June 9 show at The Kia Forum, post your photos on IG as a carousel with #LIBADLA + tag us, then upload the link to your post to the form in our bio. Profiles must be public for us to view. Submissions end Friday, March 31. We'll notify 3 winners the following week. We Love You… This giveaway is not endorsed, sponsored, or monitored by Meta."

Alongside festival appearances, Avenged Sevenfold will play two massive shows this summer – one at the Kia Forum and another at Madison Square Garden in New York City, NY on June 23. The two shows are Avenged Sevenfold's first appearance in New York City since 2007, and first in Los Angeles since 2009.

Pre-orders for Life Is But A Dream… are available here. And because this is Avenged Sevenfold, of course there's a strange tech twist to the physical copies of the album. Avenged Sevenfold partnered with Berify to include an NFC tag (Near-field communication technology allows two devices to communicate wirelessly) on the physical copies, all of which will contain some kind of bonus content.
