Avenged Sevenfold has really embraced new technology in recent years, from their Deathbats Club to their blockchain based verification and rewards system, TicketPass. Now the band is getting into the world of gaming with an upcoming collaboration with Fortnite, the ridiculously popular battle royale-styled game by Epic Games. No word on when we can expect to see the collaboration surface, but apparently it's happening "soon".
In other news, Avenged Sevenfold recently released "We Love You Moar" featuring Pussy Riot vocalist Nadya Tolokonnikova alongside a custom balaclava created in collaboration with Tolokonnikova. All proceeds go to the SOS North Caucasus, who are helping LGBTQ people facing mortal danger and persecution in North Caucasus, Russia. Get one of the limited-to-300 balaclavas here.
In part, the SOS North Caucasus described themselves as such on their website: "We help LGBTIQ+ people to flee from the regions where they face discrimination, violence and mortal danger. We provide them with safe housing, legal assistance, financial, medical and psychological help. Our aim is to give them an opportunity to start a new safe life."
