A few days ago we talked about the theory that there could be a second Avenged Sevenfold album, or just more music, coming in December. The theory is based off single artwork, a mysterious image in the band's merch store, and the fact that frontman M. Shadows says more music is coming at some point.
You can read all about the theory here, but according to Shadows in a Reddit AMA, the image is just a strange human eyeball, but there is actually more music coming at some point.
The other eye represents a human eye. Basically a nod to Paradigm in that it is half man half machine … I really should have kept my mouth shut about the evolving album. We will have some surprises and fun stuff but this is the main record. There are not two albums… we killed ourself with this one and two would have just been too much. If you go into the evolving record without expectations I think most people will really enjoy it.
So we shall see. It's not like Avenged Sevenfold has tried to throw us off the scent before, though this time there's a lot less mystery. Shadows openly admits there'll be more music, so it's not like this is some cryptic message left for the Internet to decode.
