Recently we posted up a very brief trailer from August Burns Red that sounded like it was about to get all types of heavy. Unfortunately it was only 15 seconds, so we didn't really have enough to judge it on! Until right now, when August Burns Red posted up a trailer and announced that a new record titled Found In Far Away Places will be out on Jun. 30 via Fearless Records. Are you ready for the heaviness?
Right. August Burns Red is taking a seriously heavy turn and I could not be more excited, though it's not like the group hasn't been heavy in the past. This is just a seemingly new brand of heavy! You're stoked… or embarrassed that you've blindly hated this group for so long so you're secretly stoked. I won't tell your friends.
Seriously though, as a general consensus it seems like everything August Burns Red has ever done is well received. 2013’s Rescue and Restore was incredible, arguably the best thing the group has ever done to date, so here’s hoping that keeps up!
