A Pale Horse Named Death recently announced that it would be releasing its first album since 2013's Lay My Soul To Waste this year. The band is fronted by ex-Type O Negative drummer Sal Abruscato, who recently left his position in Life Of Agony to pursue A Pale Horse Named Death full time. The band has now announced a slightly revised lineup, replacing drummer Johnny Kelly (Danzig, ex-Type O Negative) with Tommy Spano (Corey Glover) and guitarist Matt Brown (ex-Seventh Void) with guitarist Joe Taylor (Lita Ford, Doro Pesch).
A Pale Horse Named Death says via its website that it's currently in the studio working on a new album, and is "just about finalized with our new deal with SPV/Long Branch Records." It's also worth noting that Life Of Agony announced its new drummer in late January, but according to the A Pale Horse Named Death site, Abruscato reactivated A Pale Horse Named Death in October and left A Life Of Agony in early December.
We'll keep you posted about A Pale Horse Named Death news as it comes. Right now, the band's site says the album is coming toward the end of 2018.
