Carolyn Bertozzi, Anne T. and Robert M. Bass Professor in the School of Humanities and Sciences and a professor of chemistry at Stanford University, won the 2022 Nobel Prize in chemistry. But way before that, Bertozzi and Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello were in a band together.

Morello congratulated Bertozzi on winning the Nobel Peace Prize on Instagran, pointing out that they both used to be in a band called (funnily enough) Bored Of Education. And apparently Bored Of Education was good enough to win the Ivy League Battle of the Bands in 1986! Maybe that Morello guy should've pursued music, yeah? Who knows what he could've accomplished.

"Congratulations to my former Harvard bandmate [Carolyn Bertozzi] on her Nobel Prize in chemistry! We won the Ivy League Battle of the Bands in 1986 with our rockin’ group Bored of Education, with her on keyboards & me in spandex."
