Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello's mother turned 100 years old earlier this week, which of course called for a massive celebration. Among the festivities was the legendary Jack Black performing Ozzy Osbourne's "Mr. Crowley" with a band of 12- and 13-year olds. The band featured Morello's son Roman on guitar, Japanese drumming prodigy Yoyoka behind the kit, Roya Feiz on bass, and Hugo Weiss on keyboards.
It's pretty much a given that Black crushed it, but shout out to the band of kids who played extremely well too!
"Mary Morello's 100th bday celebration featured a stirring rendition of @ozzyosbourne & #RandyRhoads 'Mr. Crowley' performed by @jackblack and a kick ass band of 12 & 13 year olds!," wrote Morello of the cover and party. "Mary was pleased!"
"I am so honored and excited!!" wrote Yoyoka in the comments. "Thank you for hiring me as the drummer for this band" Rage Against The Machine drummer Brad Wilk also approved of Roman's guitar solo, simply commenting on the post "SHREDDING!!!!!!!"
