Polish death metal horde Hate will release their new record Auric Gates of Veles on June 14, and have begun their onslaught with the debut single "Sovereign Sanctity". Frontman Adam "ATF" Buszko says the new record is darker, more atmospheric, more black metal-oriented and focuses more on Slavonic mysticism lyrically.
"We wanted to go deeper into the subject, both musically and lyrically. We also wanted to record a sharper and better defined rhythm section, a more death metal-oriented one. When it comes to guitar sound, it was meant to be a wall of sonic destruction with dark ambient elements in the background."
Hate will hit the road in May with Belphegor, Dark Funeral, and Incantation as part of Devastation On The Nation 2019. Check out those dates here and grab yourselves a pre-order of Auric Gates of Veles below.
