The New CODE ORANGE Song "Kill The Creator" Dabbles In Mathcore

There is a riff :22 into the new Code Orange song, "Kill The Creator" which was so refreshing to hear because it was the type of riff I haven't heard from a new band in like 10 years. And then when they ride the riff into the breakdown, all bets are off.

These guys are wearing their influences on their sleeve here. Elements of bands like Norma Jean, Every Time I Die, Converge, and The Dillinger Escape Plan can be heard in this track, to my ear at least.

All of this is to say that I am VERY excited to hear their new album, Forever, out January 13th on Roadrunner Records.
