We haven't heard much of anything from Cloudkicker ever since his 2015 album Woum, aside from the welcome news that he'd be working with Intronaut on their new album. Now we've heard something and it's an entire new album called Unending.
According to mastermind Ben Sharp, Unending was written, recorded, mixed, and mastered between March and August of 2019. The digital download comes with the vinyl masters of the album as bonus tracks, and that is due out later this year. Here's what Sharp had to say about the record on Instagram.
Unending is now available for streaming and download on Bandcamp. I have just submitted it to all the streaming sites, so it should be on the big ones within the next few days, and everything within a few weeks.
@charliewagers and I are in the process of finalizing the vinyl layout and production. Look for a 12” gatefold with a couple different color configurations sometime around the end of the year, if I had to guess.
A huge thanks to @suruchi.es for the artwork and for taking the first step of messaging me with the offer, as well as being open to my suggestions. The LP art is going to be nuts.
And also a big thanks to everyone that has supported me musically ever. I’m so glad that you haven’t let me grow out of my love for music and the things it can make me feel. I’ve been so happy to get back to a creative place in the last year and I owe it to all of you for keeping me there. ?✌️
In the meantime, stream Unending below and grab the record here.
