After four years of silence, Satyricon is back with a new album called Deep Calleth Upon Deep out September 22. The title track to the album can be found below, and is a pretty lo-fi and simple approach to black metal. If you slapped some truly awful production on this track and maybe sped up the verses a touch with some blasting, "Deep Calleth Upon Deep" could absolutely pass for a black metal demo circa the late 90s.
Go thank Invisible Oranges for premiering the track, and then pre-order Deep Calleth Upon Deep here.
