Ripped to Shreds has rapidly been getting the attention of the death metal world over the past two years. The band, headed up by vocalist and guitarist Andrew Lee, is back to further cement its standing as a modern metal legend with a brand new record 亂 (Luan). Look no further than our premiere of the brand new song "Opening Salvo" to see why pretty much every metal media outlet loves Ripped to Shreds.
亂 is the first Ripped to Shreds record to feature Justin Bean (Trenchrot, Daeva) and Tom Warrior (Obscure Transmissions, Death Fortress, Siege Column), and will also feature guest appearances from guitarists Takafumi Matsubara (Gridlink, Retortion Terror), Phil Tougas (Chthe‘ilist, Funebrarum) and Damian Herringm (Horrendous). The record was mixed by Greg Wilkinson at Earhammer Studio (Atrament, Extremity, Necrot), mastered by Damian Herring at Subterranean Watchtower Studio (Blood Incantation, Suffering Hour, Witch Vomit), and given artwork by Chinese artist Guan Yang (Infant Annihilator, Ritual Day).
Ripped to Shreds will play a show at the Golden Bull in Oakland, CA on February 28 and The Lexington in Los Angeles, CA on February 29. Check out the flyers below
